Oh Hey There!

I’m Georgia, a queer, Naarm-based wedding photographer who has been lucky enough to capture and cry at people’s loved up memories for over a decade now.

I enjoy hikes, occasional gaming, live music and my 3 cats (Bean, Ember and Tilly), my wife (also named Cat) and I also enjoy the hell out of creating pretty, non-awkward photos on people’s wedding days.

Hold the stale poses, forced smiles and painfully awkward photo sessions.

Let’s have fun with this and embrace the real stuff instead.

We are just marvelling at our absolute good fortune at having encountered Georgia! She made us feel super calm and made the entire process so relaxed and enjoyable. And we loved hanging out with her for the day and our chats :) It felt like one of our friends was photographing us!

Everyone needs to benefit from her talent, and have her professional third-wheeling on their special day. Thank you so, so much - the photos are amazing, and we could not be happier x

Georgia was an incredible photographer. When she rocked up to photograph us separately we were both taken with her friendly, kind, helpful, fun energy that was able to keep us all relaxed and happy. Her photos during the ceremony and beyond was amazing. She was able to capture the magical energy of the day. Even though she was exceptionally enthusiastic and excited photos taking photos with the wedding party and by ourselves did not take too long and we were all able to enjoy the day and night in a completely happy relaxed way because of Georgia.
Thank you so much again Georgia!!

Georgia swooped in as our second photographer when our first one was not available on our new date (thanks covid) but boy were we glad! Not only is she a legend and so easy to deal with, she really fit into the vibe of the day and felt like a friend was just hanging around with us. She calmed our nerves and knew exactly what to say to get the most amazing pictures. Speaking of the picutres, they are the most stunning photos that blew everyone away, filled with joy, colour and sparkle. Georgia is an incredibly inclusive photographer which made us feel so comfortable infront of the camera, being two wives. Book her!!

Photographs for the

The theory behind the Lens!

Does having your photo taken bring up flashbacks to awful school photos? You feel sweaty, awkward and suddenly you have no idea where on earth you normally put your hands (ugh…hands).

Fair. It’s a pretty vulnerable thing to do really, and all of us have our hangups. Taking grouse photos it only a small part of my job, the bigger thing is getting you both to feel comfortable, fantastic and confident in front of the ol’ lens.

Comfortable! How?

My go-to technique is getting you chatting. Two points of contact at all times face each other, tell me about your first date, who texted first? Who tried to play it cool but totally failed? What were your first impressions of each other? I’m not just nosy, this gets you laughing, giggling and reminiscing about really nice stuff on the day. That’s the good stuff and that’s what I photograph. All the photos above of people laughing? It’s actual real laughter. We create those moments together. You also don’t need to spend 1+ hours just doing photos if you don’t want to. Get the good stuff then go party!

Of course we get the safe and equally important stuff too, family photos, the shot of you both looking at the camera in ya stunning outfits. The rest of the day I’m a candid creature, capturing the fabulous little moments and not getting in the way.

“When you find a photographer who is so much more than just that. Georgia you were the icing on the cake for our perfect day. You were so personable and friendly, how could anyone not love you! From the moment we met you we felt at ease, neither Leah or myself felt comfortable behind the camera but that all changed when we met you. The way you create memories from simple moments just blew us away. No staging or posing was necessary with a genius like you in the room. Thank you for not only being our photographer but I think a life long friend and a huge part of one of the best days of our lives. Our photos we will cherish forever as will all of our guests

5 stars just isn’t enough!”
