Arleen & Simon

Thank you so much for getting in touch! I’m thrilled that you’ve loved my work and are keen to find out more. My photography is pretty reflective of who I am. I love bright, colourful images full of joy, surprise and laughter. I want to capture the real bits. The moments between, where you forget about the camera for just a second.

The moments where you are engrossed in each other, married and having the greatest time. I love capturing guests enjoying your day, too, crying, laughing and clapping along to all the big moments. Often, the 10 minutes post-ceremony, when everyone you love is hugging the hell out of you, that my favourite part of any wedding day. Unless your grandpa starts pulling some fiery moves on the dance floor.

"Amazing photographer and amazing human. Georgia went above and beyond and beyond again"

Elle & Lou

“Wiggsy is an absolute legend and we loved having her as our wedding photographer. We wanted our wedding to be 'casual but classy' and she captured this perfectly.” - Lou & Elle

“Posing” &

nerves

What does candid posing actually mean?

Aren’t those two things the opposite?

During portraits, I focus on creating cute little emotional moments between you two to photograph, I’ll ask you to chat about your first dates (who asked who? Where’d you go? Why’d you go on a second one?) and pick up on little moments from the ceremony to get your all mushy and giggly. I then photograph the reactions and responses to these moments, that’s why all the laughy loved-up photos look real. They are. I see it more as directing rather than posing. You get to be silly, be yourself and chat about what you like most about your person.

The rest of the day I’m looking for the small little moment, your guest’s reactions to speeches, your wedding party seeing you for the first time ever, parents barely holding it together in the front row; the juicy good feeling stuff.

What’s included?

How many photos?

It can really vary depending on the day; but a general rule of thumb is to expect roughly 90 photos per hour of coverage (usually more!)

You get all of the good shots, I go through and cull out any duplicates, ones that didn’t look good, odd expressions/blinks etc.

Can I see a full gallery?

Absolutely! Please do; it’s a great way to see how the online gallery works as well. Here’s a few:

Olivia and Sam’s winery wedding.

Sanaya and Will’s school camp wedding.

Katie and Anthony’s inner city wedding

When do we get the photos?

Within three days you will get at least 50 (usually many more!) sneak peak images of your day.

Then the full gallery between 6-8 weeks out from the day.

Can we get prints?

Absolutely! I have a printstore that runs through the gallery; or you can download them all high res and print at your preferred print shop (please no Kmart or Officeworks though- never does it justice!)

Wedding albums

The albums I produce are handmade in Perth at Atkins lab. They’re stunning lay flat albums are hand-constructed using Italian book-binding machines and techniques.

There really isn’t a better way to preserve your memories, its so rare to have a physical copy of photos in the digital age which makes flicking through them even more special

  • $1500, which includes design costs and up to three rounds of design revisions.

Additional pages are $70 per spread.

  • I offer a 10 x 10 inch (square) album with 40 pages or a 8 x 10 inch (portrait) album with 45 pages included.

  • There’s a broad range of covers available that you can look through here you are able to customize your engraving on the front cover to anything you would like; even matching in with your invitations or signage if desired.

  • You are able to buy an exact replica of the main album but at a smaller size (6 x 6 inch or 6 X 8 inch) for $650 each.

“Okay, these pics are delightful and so speedy! We can’t thank you enough” - Matt + Cy

Timeline Suggestions

Getting ready photos

I usually need an hour with each partner for getting ready photos. Ensure that hair and makeup is finished (or finishing up) just as I arrive. I always need at least a 20 min buffer to leave before you and get set up at the ceremony site (so advise HMU to be finished at least 1.5 hours prior to you needing to leave).

One partner will often need to get ready slightly earlier, but there’s no rules! You do not need to do the ‘putting on suits/outfit’ photos, you could get photos surfing, going to the pub or whatever you would like!

6:00 pm

Photos end! Relax/travel time.

Ceremony + Family photos

Most ceremonies usually go for roughly 30-45 mins (longer for some religious ceremonies). Once it’s finished, I always want to build in at least 15 mins for you to hug your people and bask in that glow for a little while.

If you choose to do a big group photo (I’d kinda advise against it), it’s usually best to do that asap after the ceremony.

After the hugs it’s family photo time, I’ll always get a list from you before hand, and if it’s under 8 different combos, I can usually get this done in 15 mins. It’s a good idea to word people up beforehand so they know what to expect.

2:30 pm

Partner A getting ready photos. Same as before but slightly more nervous.

1:30 pm

Partner 1 getting ready photos. Details, documenting what’s happening as it happens.

6:15 pm

Enter the reception time!

4:00 pm

Ceremony. Wooohoo!

7:00 pm

Speeches followed by mains.

Portraits to Reception

Depending on location (or sometimes locations) I usually recommend roughly 1 hour for wedding party and couple photos, any more and you’ll be sick of it!

Once again, there’s no rules- do what you want to! Got a fave bar you want to go to and get shots there - DO IT. Photographing people having fun is always excellent.

It’s a good aim to get back to the reception 10 mins before you need to enter just as a buffer..

Then it all plays out as per your timeline with the venue; just try to sneak 10 mins for sunset if you can (you can google the time on your date!)

If dancefloor shots are a priority for you you’ll want at least 30 mins post dancefloor opening up of coverage time.

4:50 pm

Family photos (I advise to keep it to immediate family if you can).

5:00 pm

Wedding party photographs + couple photographs.

8:30 pm

First dance/cake cut (if you choose to partake!) then dancefloor opens.

9:30 pm

Photography coverage wraps up! I’ll always ask if there’s any other pics you want before I head off.
